Eparency PU Foam 100 is a self skinning rigid polyurethane foam. The product comes with Part A and B. Two parts need to be mixed before filling into mould. Part A must be shaked or stirred well before mixing.
Free Rise Expansion Rate: 10 times. (tested under 25 degree C, 75% relative humidity)
Free Rise Foam Density: 100g/L (tested under 25 degree C, 75% relative humidity)
Mix Ratio: 1:1 by weight (wrong mixing ratio will cause foam collapsing)
Cream Time: 30 seconds (pouring must be finished before creaming)
Gel Time: 2-4 minutes
Tack Free Time: 4-10 minutes
1kg kit includes 500g Part A and 500g Part B.
Allow sufficient time before demoulding. Early demoulding might damage the foam. Its recommended to spray mould release on mould even if you are using silicone mould. Silicone mould release might cause wetting problem for painting the foam. We recommend using wax types of release. Prior to decanting the components, they should be stirred or mixed before adding them together. Once mixed, the material should be immediately poured. Do not mix for too long as foaming happens fairly quickly. Please leave the foam in the mould for extra longer time before demoulding. Early demoulding would cause damage to the foam. The foam can be painted or coated with Eparency Foam Coat. You can mix sand and aggregates with Eparency Foam Coat to mimic stone effect.
