Eparency UV Resin Matte Finish
Clear colorless UV curing resin with matte surface. All other Eparency UV resins come with gloss surface finish.
100% Australian formulated and manufactured
- CONVENIENT & EFFICIENT - No need to measure, mix the ratio or take long curing time like conventional epoxy resin. Our UV resin is ready to use and can instantly cure hard in about 2-4 minutes with 36W UV light, LED UV light or sunlight.
- PREMIUM QULITY- self-levelling, self-degassing properties, smooth, no surface tack, crystal clear, glassy finish. Anti-scratch, anti-stain and yellowing resistance.
- LOW ODOUR
- WIDELY USED - Eparency UV resin can be used for jewellery making, crafts decorations, spots filling, coating, cast figurines and make resin paintings etc.
- SAFE - made in Australia (even the ingredients are synthesized in Australia)from high-quality materials.
Note:
Not for the large projects. The resin is suitable for making small pieces or coating.
It can also be mixed with mica powder, colourants and glitters, however, UV lights would have limited penetration through coloured resin. For heavily dyed resin, only thin piece can be cured.
Hardening time:
UV LED lamp (6w-9w) about 2-4 mins
UV lamp (36W) about 2-4 mins
Sunlight (when sunny) about 2-4 mins
Sunlight (when cloudy) about 2-4 mins
Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Avoid direct contact.
Instructions:
1. Make sure mould is clean and free of dust, oil, and other foreign substances, pour in a dark room/ away from UV.
2. Use proper PPE. If you accidentally spill the UV resin on your hands, please wash it immediately or wipe it with alcohol.
3. Place resin under sunlight or UV light for 2 minutes.
4. During curing process, do not touch the surface of your item with your hands to avoid fingerprints, please let item cool down for about 5-10 minutes before demoulding.
5. Curing under sunlight or 36W UV lamp could minimize the surface tack. LED UV lamp generates low irradiation, it would appears more surface tack.
6. if the Eparency matte UV resin is exposed under UV lamp for too long, there might appear some white powder on the surface. It can be easily wiped out with alcohol.
UV Curing Resin: A Revolutionary Solution for Quick and Efficient Curing
In the world of manufacturing and restoration, speed and efficiency are crucial factors. The advent of UV curing resin has revolutionized the way industries approach curing processes. This innovative solution offers numerous benefits, including rapid curing, increased productivity, and enhanced durability.
UV curing resin is a type of adhesive or coating material that cures quickly when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. When subjected to UV light, a photoinitiator in the resin reacts with the UV radiation, triggering a polymerization process to convert the liquid resin into a solid and durable material. This rapid conversion from liquid to solid greatly reduces curing time and increases productivity.
Applications of UV Curing Resin
UV curing resin finds applications in various industries, including manufacturing, automotive, electronics, construction, and woodworking. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, such as:
1. Adhesive and Bonding
UV curing resin acts as an excellent adhesive, providing strong bonds between different materials such as metals, plastics, glass, and ceramics. Its rapid curing time allows for instant bonding, saving valuable production time. This adhesive property makes UV curing resin ideal for industries that require quick and reliable bonding, such as electronics and automotive manufacturing.
2. Coating and Finishing
The ability of UV curing resin to form a durable and protective coating makes it a desirable choice for surface finishing. Whether it is wood, plastic, metal, or concrete, applying a UV-cured coating improves the material's resistance to wear, chemicals, and UV radiation. The speed at which the resin cures ensures a swift and efficient coating process.
3. 3D Printing
UV curing resin is widely used in the field of 3D printing. With its fast curing time and exceptional resolution, it enables the production of intricate and detailed objects. The ability to solidify layers of resin quickly allows for faster 3D printing times, enhancing overall productivity.
Advantages of UV Curing Resin
Understanding the advantages of UV curing resin highlights why it has gained significant popularity in various industries. Let's explore some of its notable benefits:
1. Rapid Curing
The standout feature of UV curing resin is its exceptionally fast curing time. Traditional adhesives and coatings often require extended periods to cure, leading to delays in production timelines. UV curing resin addresses this challenge by curing within seconds or minutes, significantly reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.
2. Greater Productivity
The quick curing time of UV curing resin translates into enhanced productivity for businesses. Manufacturers can complete projects in shorter time frames, allowing them to take on more orders and meet customer demands more efficiently. This increased productivity leads to cost savings and improved profitability.
3. Enhanced Durability
UV curing resin creates a durable and long-lasting bond or coating. Its cured form exhibits excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and UV radiation. This durability ensures the longevity and robustness of products, reducing the need for frequent repairs or replacements.
4. Environmental Friendliness
Unlike traditional solvent-based adhesives and coatings, UV curing resin is free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs contribute to air pollution and pose health risks to those involved in the manufacturing process. By opting for UV curing resin, businesses can reduce their environmental footprint and provide a safer working environment for their employees.
